Waldron's Starman  15.1 hh
Starman, owned and imported by John and Liz Gleeson, is a son of McNamara Acrobat, a potent sire of performance horses, and a grandson of the legendary Warrenbri Romeo. Although he died young, and therefore did not have a large number of breedings, McNamara Acrobat’s offspring have proven to be outstanding athletes. In 2004 twelve McNamara Acrobat horses won 14 campdrafts in nine consecutive weeks, followed by ten Acrobat offspring that won 12 campdrafts in seven consecutive weeks. In his brief career before being shipped to the US Starman placed either 1st or 2nd in every halter, hack, working and cattle class in which he was entered.

As a sire Starman (first foals in late 2006) has produced responsive, intelligent, easily trained offspring who are excelling in a variety of disciplines, from polo to driving. Starman can be playful – he sometimes runs with tree branches in his mouth and chases his tail, but when it comes to work he is all business and can go from the breeding pen to saddle work with perfect manners and no fuss. At 15.1 hands, this blood bay stallion has it all- athletic talent, great physical beauty and an accepting, intelligent mind.

Trish Jones, a respected polocrosse player, ASH association rater and breeder from Western Australia said “I would be happy to take any of these Starman offspring home with me.”
